Image Critique Week 3 Computer and the Camera Down loading options File formats Storage Introduction to Raw Format Preparing Images for Print and Presentation Hands on PhotoShop workshop Week 4 Hands On PhotoShop Workshop Tools Overview Setting up PhotoShop Basic Image Adjustments Week 5 Project Discussion Night Each student will prepare a presentation in the form of a slide show for the final class. While the presentation does not need to
be narrative, it should have a flow and content continuity. Near the end of
the course the student will learn to assemble, edit and synchronize images

Week 7 All things Digital Image restoration Working with audio, video and still images Introduction to video and editing The linear Scrapbook Image Critique Week 8 The Studio: An introduction to lighting things, from objects to people. We will explore simple (at home) kind of lighting to more complex studio lighting setups. Week 9 Field trip: We will go off as a group to photograph in a specific area. Working together as a group selecting a site and compose an image by committee. You will then go off on your own to photograph. We will review work in the next session and finalize the image in PhotoShop that we have taken together. Week 10 Review the work from field trip Begin to assemble the work for the final presentation Hands-on Introduction to Vegas Video and Flash Slideshow Maker
Week 11 PhotoShop workshop The students will prepare their presentation in the form of a slide show using Flash Slideshow Maker for the final class presentation.
